Mobile Conceirge is an iPhone project partnership between Gigabit and Capitol One Bank to deliver a proof of concept on the basis of mobile banking. The goal was to leverage features unique to the iPhone that would allow Capitol One to better achieve customer loyalty and a credit card concept known as 'first in wallet.' Some of the novel ideas included merchant partnerships that made exclusive offerings to Capitol One customers, redeeming coupons from the phone, activating credit cards, transferring balances, adding funds to cash cards, inspect account status, and monitoring monthly budgets where a few of the many features we tried to demonstrate. Gigabit delivered the POC in a little over three weeks.
